300 pairs of Crocs are now being shipped to the Royal Oldham Hospital
The Trojan President of Dovestones WI went hot foot to help after a plea from NHS staff in the ICU at Oldham Royal Hospital for Croc shoes.
Jessica Moreland, who has a top level contact in the company, organised a video link with the officials there and calls to Singapore, with emails to the company’s Amsterdam Distribution point being sent too.
She said: “We now have 300 pairs of Crocs being shipped to Royal Oldham Hospital.
"I’m very happy Dovestone WI could help with this.
"I knew being mates with that awesome contact for over 20 years would come in handy one day!
“Huge thanks and appreciation to Scott Vinning (Singapore), Adrian Holloway (Amsterdam) and Crocs International for making this happen."
