Power outage and road closure in Mossley

There was a power cut  in a part of Mossley earlier today, after it's believed a workman accidentally cut through a cable. 

We have been advised that Stamford Road,  will be closed overnight. 

Electricity Northwest has advised they have workmen at the scene and it will be repaired ASAP but closure will remain in place.
