Yellow weather warning in place across Oldham

Heavy rain is expected today and tomorrow
A yellow weather warning has been issued in Oldham throughout today and into tomorrow.
It's understood heavy rain across the borough may lead to flooding in some places.
Meteorologists have told people to expect the following- There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings.
There is a small chance of fast flowing or deep floodwater causing danger to life.
Where flooding occurs, there is a slight chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services.
Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
There is a small chance that some communities become cut off by flooded roads.
The Met Office are urging people to use the Floodline helpline in cases of flooding on 0345 988 1188.
