The scene on Market Street
It's understood a fire has broken out on the first floor of a flat on Market Street in Shaw this morning.
The Oldham Evening Chronicle contacted Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service who told us they received reports of a fire at 10:30am this morning (7th October).
Three engines are at the scene in Shaw- using two hoses to dampen down the fire.
It's understood a cordon is in place on Market Street, causing traffic at Milnrow Road.
More updates to follow.
