Now moving into its 12th year of celebrating the success of the Oldham’s business community, next year’s awards ceremony should be even bigger and better.
New for 2020 is the ability for you to Nominate a worthy supplier, business, company or colleague in any of the 11 categories available, this could be any individual or company that you believe deserves the recognition they deserve.
Introduced for 2020 event is the 'Micro Business of the Year' category. The judges will consider businesses operating in any commercial or industrial sector with between 1-10 employees-who can demonstrate successful performance against it's objectives.
This could include in the business' sales growth, profit achievement and a satisfied customer base.
The judges will take into consideration outstanding leadership & vision and commitment to employees through development & training.
Launched 12 years ago, the awards have become the main event in the Oldham business community social calendar.
Wholly funded by the private sector, and organised by volunteers from all section of the business environment, the awards celebrate all that is good about Oldham.
Steve Kilroy, Chair of the Steering Group said, "We are proud that Oldham can have this show piece event celebrating Oldham's businesses in all sectors from commerce and industry to professional and the third party-sector.
The 2020 event will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham on Friday 15th May 2020.
