Champion teacher Steve Hill
Intrepid fundraiser Steve Hill has been recognised for his dedicated hard work again, this time after winning a further TWO awards.
Mr Hill, from St Joseph's School in Shaw, won the 'Inspirational Teacher of the Year' award at the School Awards at a plush ceremony at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester.
He also picked up the 'Inspirational Teacher of the Year' Award at the UK Fast Community and Education Awards.
Mr Hill teaches Year 6 pupils at St Joseph's and was secretly nominated by his fellow teachers.
He said: "It's very nice to be recognised.
"But it's not about me, it's all about the children and how well they are doing.
"I'm really grateful for the award though, and it inspires me to keep working hard."
Inspirational Mr Hill has travelled the world in recent years, raising lots of money for numerous charities by completing some amazing sporting challenges.
