Enterprising Jane Harvey has received a business boost after an internet tweet to a celebrity retail entrepreneur.

Jane Harvey, owner of Th’office Ltd, in Oldham, offers a virtual assistant-office services aimed specifically for local small businesses.

She tweeted Theo Paphitis, chairman of Ryman Stationary, Robert Dyas and Boux Avenue, during ‘Small Business Sunday’ and became one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet by Theo to his 500,000 Twitter followers.

The initiative set up by Theo nine years ago, now has over 2,500 #SBS winners and supports small businesses in the UK.

As a result, Th’office Ltd has increasing followers and extra orders for the business.

And an added bonus is Jane’s business will be profiled on the #SBS website (www.theopaphitissbs.com) exclusive to all the ‘Small Business Sunday’ winners.

Jane said, “I’ve only been in business for six months and I still work out of my home office.

“It’s taken real hard graft and I’ve been working extremely long hours to get the business where it is today.

It’s great to have support from Theo because it’s been tough trying to raise the profile and Theo has recognised the hard work and efforts I have undertaken and is  helping to spread the word about what I do to his following.”

Theo, a small business champion, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Th’office Ltd as a new parish Small Business Sunday winner.

We welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses in the UK.

My vision is everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club with like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings.

The website will also give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and I wish Th’office Ltd every success.”

Anyone seeking a re‐tweet from Theo abroad it their business can tweet him on Sunday between 5-6pm include the hashtag #SBS.

Each Monday at 8pm six lucky businesses are re‐tweeted and invited to enter their profile on the new website, attend the annual #SBS networking event and take advantage of the networking opportunities.
