By-election chance in Failsworth East

Voting will take place on Thursday, November 29 from 7am to 10pm
A by-election is to be held in the Failsworth East ward of Oldham Council.
Cheryl Brock, who has served the ward since 2016, has given notice of her intention to stand down.
Nominations to stand as a candidate can be obtained from the Returning Officer at the Elections Office at Oldham Civic Centre and must be returned by no later than November 2.
Applications to vote by post can also be made via the elections office by November 14, while applications to vote by proxy must be made by November 21.
Voting will take place on Thursday, November 29 from 7am to 10pm with vote counting taking place at Failsworth Town Hall immediately afterwards.
