This Saturday (July 28) sees the return of Oldham Pride as the LGBT community come together to celebrate in spectacular style once again.

The all day event will begin with a repeat of the official Pride Breakfast at the George Tavern from 10 am.

From 12.15pm, be ready outside the Tommyfield for the fabulous Rainbow Parade – expect huge floats and rainbow flags in this celebration of equality and diversity.

Fun for the family begins at 1pm in Parliament Square, where host Ky Kelly will present a host of acts, including Britain's Got Talent’s Bosom Buddies, Jamie Jay, local dance group Gay Gordons Manchester and a taste of the 80s with Black Lace.

For younger ones, there will be a youth zone and kids entertainers.

To finish, George Square will be the host of Party in the Square where locals can enjoy the outdoor bars while watching live performances from Take That, Adele and Paloma Faith tribute acts.

There will also be a celebration of local talent, all hosted by Jonny Bonna Higgins.

Hosted by Oldham Rainbow Association and welcoming volunteers, this year’s Oldham Pride is sure to be a highlight of the summer.
