Oldham hotter than Australia this weekend.

A sunny scene looking across Oldham Edge earlier today, though showers could be on the way later
As the month of June dawns, Oldhamers can gear up for another warm weekend of weather, though this evening (Friday) we could be hit by a potentially thundery shower or two.
North Wales was hit by a clutch of sizeable showers around lunchtime.
Temperatures could rise to around 23C on Sunday, making the town hotter than Brisbane in Australia.
The bright scene is pictured this afternoon (below) looking towards Chadderton.
It will continue to feel muggy throughout the weekend, with Sunday set to be the better and brighter of the two days.
It may feel a little fresher tomorrow (Saturday), and the day could well start with a few unwelcome showers, but Sunday is set to be a bit warmer again with sunny spells developing quite widely.
However, that sunshine could spark a couple of hefty showers later in the day.
Temperatures could rise to 22 degrees - very pleasant indeed.
England and Wales should stay largely dry with some sunshine from Monday.
It promises to be mainly dry but rather cloudy on Tuesday and turning cooler, especially in the east.
