Teachers suffer minor injuries following disturbances outside Failsworth school

The Failsworth school today
Shortly before 3pm today (Tuesday), police were called to reports of fighting outside the Co-op Academy Failsworth school on Brierley Avenue.
Two groups of boys - who are not believed to be pupils at the school - were fighting, before teachers tried to intervene.
Officers attended and found two teachers with minor injuries and a car that had been damaged.
The groups ran off before officers arrived and enquiries into the circumstances around the incident are ongoing.
