The Christmas holidays are a popular period for people looking to give their time to support their communities and get in the festive spirit.

People choose to volunteer for all sorts of reasons; some do not want to spend Christmas alone, others want to give something back and would rather give, instead of receive.

Everyone benefits in their own special way and each year Action Together receive more requests to volunteer.

To embrace this festive generosity, Action Together are compiling a list of opportunities to promote throughout November and December via their ebulletins, website and in their centres.

All they need is a:

• Short paragraph about the opportunity or event.
• List of tasks the volunteers involved.
• Date, time and venue.
• Named contact.
