Oldham Guides have time of their lives at big gig

14th Oldham (St Mary’s) Guides eagerly waiting for the first acts to start at Wembley
An excited group of Guides from Oldham had the time of their lives rocking to some of their favourite artists, including Louisa Johnson and Ella Eyre at Wembley Arena.
Girls from 14th Oldham (St Mary’s) Guides travelled to Wembley on 7 October for the Big Gig, Girlguiding’s annual pop concert.
They were treated to a star-studded line up which also included Pixie Lott, Five After Midnight and Youtube stars Jack Maynard and Caspar Lee.
The girls, aged between 10 and 14, were able to enjoy all the fun and excitement of a pop concert while celebrating their role in Girlguiding, the UK’s leading charity for girls and young women.
Amy, 13, said: “I have been going to the Big Gig every year for four years and this was the best. I loved it."
Courtney, 11, said: “This was my first big gig and it was amazing.”
Megan, 13, said: “They were the greatest artists we have ever had at the Big Gig. Very fun and entertaining.”
