The Greater Manchester Youth Network
The Greater Manchester Youth Network (GMYN) would like to offer you the opportunity to receive free Money for Life training for young people aged 16 – 25.
Money for Life helps young people to make the most of their money and equips them with the knowledge, life skills and resoruces needed to manage their money.
The training is split up into four modules, each one/two hours long, covering a range of topics. The modules are designed to be flexible and can be adapted to suit the young people you work with. You can choose to have the training delivered over one day or a series of weeks, depending on what works best for you.
One previous participant said: “I learned that I am not as bad with money as I thought.
"I now spend more time thinking ahead than I did before.
"I also have helped friend’s who have needed support.
"I would recommend the programme as it sounds boring but it’s done in quite a relaxed way and we had a laugh.”
What do I need to provide?
You need to provide a group of about 15 young people aged 16 – 25 to engage in the programme.
You will also need to provide at least one member of staff who can support the young people during the training.
Where will the training be delivered?
We can come deliver the training at your organisation in a space the young people are familiar with. Alternatively we can use the GMYN offices located in central Manchester for free.
To book your free course contact Nick on nick.rogers@gmyn.co.uk or call 0161 274 3377.
