Motorbike rider Karl Hope has died after crash on Chadderton Way

Motorbike rider Karl Hope, 25, has died after he was involved in a collision with three vehicles, a Mercedes, a Mini and a Ford Fiesta, on Chadderton Way, Oldham.

The collision occured at about 5.20pm on Friday and Mr Hope suffered multiple injuries. He was taken to hospital where he later died.

PC Paul Joynson, from Greater Manchester Police, said: "The driver of the green Ford Fiesta stopped momentarily before driving away from the scene, so they know they were involved."

He appealed for the driver and witnesses to get in touch.
