Park life sweet for flying Eagles

CHADDERTON Park under-13s Eagles extended their unbeaten run to 45 games after seeing off Failsworth West 14-0 in the North Bury League.

Luke Evans scored four times, Matty Crowe notched three, Jimmy Tweedale added two and Ryan Slater, Marchel Chauhan, Lucas Kavanagh, Joe Ray and Joe Mikietyn got in on the act.

In the same age group, Chadderton Park Vipers lost 9-1 to Hooley Bridge, Jacque Bromby grabbing the consolation goal.

The under-11s Griffins got the better of Radcliffe 3-0, through goals from Christopher Hurst, James Wild and James Mossley.

BROADWAY Celtic under-15s lost 6-3 to Warthfold United.

Ryan Booth hit the target twice and Joe Laycock also netted.

CHADDERTON Juniors under-15s saw off Seedfield 12-1, with Michael Gill bagging four goals and James Larty and Liam Hindley adding two each.

Danny Hawkins, Abid Ahmed, Taher Miah and Sam Coleman all scored.

KANE Steele’s double helped Boundary Park under-13s beat Tameside and District League rivals Hollingworth 6-2.

Lewis Derbyshire, Harrison Marsh, Dane Taylor and Ryan Trelfa completed the scoring.

They also beat Aspull on penalties in the Lancashire FA County Cup, after a 4-4 draw.

Jack Meylan bagged a brace, with Derbyshire and Sulamain Sajjad also on target.

Joe Ray, Regan Hadfield and Kane Steele slotted in penalties.
