MOSSLEY will be going all out for six points as they gear up for important back-to-back home fixtures in the Evo-Stik League Division One North.
The Lilywhites have endured a mixed week on the road, triumphing 5-0 at Prescot Cables before losing 4-1 at league leaders Bamber Bridge in midweek.
IMPROVE
Now, Mossley are keen to try to improve their current 14th position in the table as they host Ossett Town tomorrow and Ossett Albion on Tuesday.
Both the Ossett teams are currently struggling in the lower reaches of the table.
Lilywhites' joint-boss Peter Band (pictured) said: "This is a close division, and we've seen on a number of occasions over the past couple of seasons and a couple of wins on the bounce can shoot you back up the table.
"The squad is looking a bit stronger now - and we're hoping to add a few more players to it still.
"The response has been great these last couple of matches.
"We were looking good at 1-1 at half-time on Tuesday, but a couple of schoolboy errors cost us in the end.
REMINDED
"We've reminded the players that Mossley are a big club in non-league circles. They can't forget that.
"That was brought home to me on Tuesday when Bamber Bridge celebrated their win like they'd just won the World Cup."
Striker Mike Fish returns tomorrow after being unavailable for the midweek match, but there are injury doubts surrounding Tom Dean (hamstring) and Callum Warburton (knee).
Meanwhile, the Lilywhites are hoping to sign Robert Bourne, a striker formerly with Bury, goalkeeper Cameron Mason from Curzon Ashton, and centre-back Kieran Harper, who began his career at Southampton but now lives locally.
HALLMARK Security League First Division hopefuls Chadderton switch their attention to knock-out action tomorrow when they head to league rivals Widnes in the Buildbase FA Vase second qualifying round.
Boss Mark Howard will be hoping for a repeat of the excellent performance his team produced when winning at St Helens Town in the opening stage.
Chaddy reached the last 32 stage of the Vase two years ago.
