OLDHAM are celebrating victory in the Ladies Bury Open Texas Scramble.
The successful quartet were Jane and Sheila Antrobus, Edythe Turner and Bev Scholes.
Crompton and Royton were also on a high after defeating visitors Knutsford 4-3 in round two of the Bell Cup.
On the mark for the High Barn Street club were Audrey Whittaker (3&1), Andrea Lowe (5&4), Brenda Keaney (1up) and Christine Rimmer (2up).
At Saddleworth, Pam Taylor recorded a two-round score of 148 - 77 followed by a 71 - to scoop the Lady Captain's Prize at Saddleworth.
Pauline Richardson (76+75=151) was the runner-up.
Pam Tomlinson (89-19-70) clinched the first day honours, while the second-day gong went to Julie Ward (90-22-68).
Meanwhile, Lady Vice-Captain's Day at Werneth saw Christine Moon bag top honours in the medal round with 95-28-67, from Glynis Jones (98-27-71).
First Divisions honours were tied between Pat Grant (96-23-73) and Sheila Waterhouse (96-26-73).
Marianne Pickford (107-32-75) won Division Two, with Steph Banks (106-29-97) the runner-up.
There was also a nine-hole competition, which saw Pauline Day emerge victorious with 30 points, followed by Brenda Jarvis (27pts).
Moon was also successful in the morning nine-hole Stableford competition at away-day to Houldsworth, with Brenda Martin winning the 18-hole event in the afternoon, from runner-up Pat Grant.
