SADDLEWORTH Rangers head into their home clash with high-flying Bradford Dudley Hill tomorrow with renewed confidence.
Adam Jeffries scored a 70th-minute try to help the Greenfield club into the second round of the National Conference Trophy with a hard-fought 34-28 home win against Crosfields.
Back in National Conference League Division Two action at Shaw Hall Bank Road, Paul Geener and Craig Farrimond's side are up against a West Yorkshire outfit who have lost only one of their six fixtures to date.
o IN DIVISION Three, Oldham St Anne's have an opportunity to strike a blow near the top of the table by winning at Rylands Sharks tomorrow.
Sean Whitehead and Paul Ashton's men — beaten 48-12 at Normanton in the Trophy last time out — face a Warrington side who are third-bottom of the table with one victory to date.
Last week, they were knocked out of the Trophy via a 52-12 defeat at Premier Division outfit Wigan St Patrick's.
o IN THE same section, Waterhead are back in action after an enforced week off, travelling to Dewsbury Moor Maroons in search of a first league victory of the season.
David Orwell's side didn't play their home clash with East Leeds in the Trophy as a result of a waterlogged pitch.
That gave the Warriors extra time to concentrate on turning round what has so far been a tale of narrow defeats, the last of which was a 34-24 home loss to Eastmoor Dragons.
