MOSSLEY bounced back to winning ways after three straight Evo-Stik League Division One North defeats with a morale-boosting 2-1 victory at play-off-chasing rivals Farsley Celtic.
The win lifted the Lilywhites up to 10th place in the table, two points behind Farsley, nine points off the top five with nine games left to play.
Tom Pratt gave Mossley the lead at Throstle Nest after 17 minutes, but Celtic swiftly equalised through Leon Osborne. But victory was sealed with 12 minutes to go when Kyle McGonigle slotted home from the penalty spot to keep the Mossley play-off dream still just about alive.
The Seel Park outfit are next in action on Saturday when they play host to relegation-threatened Harrogate Railway Athletic.
CHADDERTON were without a fixture this weekend. They return to North-West Counties League First Division action on Wednesday when they travel to play-off chasing Litherland REMYCA.
