County cup fillip for Crown jewels

KYLE Jackson led the way with a super hat-trick as Oldham Sunday League hopefuls Crown triumphed6-3 at Charlestown in the Manchester County Cup.
Dale Mansfield, Jordan Knapman-Fields and Danny Browne were also on target.
Top House triumphed 4-2 at Sunday League rivals Fitton Hill thanks to Matty Crothers, Carl Caffrey, Jason Titterington and Jack Warburton.
The only David Giblin Division One match to be played was a real cracker, with High Crompton Victoria and FC Failsworth sharing eight goals.
Anthony Jones (two), Kevin Wylie and Andrew Duffy scored for Victoria, while Kyle Barrow, Aaron Hurst, Lee Bradshaw and Jonny Lambert replied.
Oddies 14 went goal crazy in Martin Buckley Division Two, thumping Dog and Partridge 9-1 courtesy of strikes from Mervyn Davies (four), Nathan Dawson (two), Ricky Cropper (two) and David Sims.
Matthew Cooke struck for the Dog.
