Non-League: MOSSLEY will be on a revenge mission tomorrow when they travel to Prescot Cables in Evo-Stik League Division One North.

The Merseysiders won 1-0 at Seel Park earlier in the season, but have struggled since and the Lilywhites will fancy their chances. Ahead of what looks set to be a frantic chase for the end-of-season play-offs, Mossley are ninth, four points shy of the top five.

Band and fellow joint-boss Lloyd Morrison will be without Mike Fish tomorrow as he recovers from a bizarre shoulder injury suffered in last weekend’s 3-2 home win against Kendal Town.

Fish was brought down by the Town goalkeeper and a defender in the penalty box, dislocating his shoulder - before being booked for diving!

“It was an unbelievable decision,” said Band. “The defender went straight through Fishy and our player ended up getting booked.”

Defender Andrew Fitzgerald will also miss the trip to Merseyside as he is undergoing treatment for a blood complaint, but front men Dougie Carroll and Godwin Abadaki are available again.

CHADDERTON need to halt their downward spiral in the North-West Counties League First Division.
Tomorrow they travel to Stockport Town, having been thumped 5-0 at neighbours Rochdale Town last weekend.
