TAME Valley’s promotion charge is back on track after their latest North-West Division Two Central clash ended in a 5-0 rout of City of Manchester.
Matt Walker, Gareth Evans, Amir Manouchechri, Matt Walsh and Wright Phillips were the outstanding quintet.
Valley’s seconds, who top Division Four East, lost their unbeaten record as they fell to a shock 4-1 reverse against Rochdale thirds.
Christian Maddox grabbed the consolation win.
Graham Hall was the lone victor for Valley’s thirds as they lost 4-1 against Rochdale fourths in Division Four East.
The fourth team secured a thrilling 3-2 win against Markland Hill thirds thanks to Richard Buchannan, Andy Wells and Malcolm Cooper.
