CHADDERTON Park under-15s Cobras came from a goal behind to win 3-1 at home against Pennine Juniors Reds.
Goals came from Brandon Bickerdike, Harrison Weiner and Callum Turkey.
Manchester Youth and Mini-Soccer League
MOORSIDE under-nines drew 2-2 against local rivals Midway.
On target were Dillon Bowyer and Reece Watkins, while in-form goalkeeper Carter Walsh won the player-of-the-match award.
BOUNDARY Park Juniors under-12s Blues defeated Whitemoss Juniors 4-2, while the Whites team lost 6-2 against Failsworth West Panthers.
Tameside Saturday League
CHADDERTON Park under-18s won 3-0 at Broadway Celtic.
BOUNDARY Park Juniors under-14s Whites team got the better of the club’s Blues team 3-2 in the club derby.
Tameside Sunday League
CHADDERTON Park under-14s Lions edged out Ladybridge Rangers 2-1 thanks to goals from Jack Payton and Thomas Reeves.
Park’s under-16s Lions lost 7-0 at Ardwick.
East Manchester League
CHADDERTON Park under-12s Vipers won 5-4 at home to Chadderton Juniors Reds in the quarter-finals of the Primary Cup competition.
North Manchester Girls’ League
A GAME between two well-matched sides saw Heyside Angels under-14s eventually overcome Ashton Pumas 4-1.
Heyside’s better finishing proved the difference.
Goals were scored by Olivia Newton (two), Bethany Hill and Megan Shaughnessy.
The Angels followed up with an unlucky 3-2 defeat against Chadderton Park Greens.
Newton and Lucy Patterson scored for Heyside.
HEYSIDE’S under-12s Jets drew 0-0 with Denton.
Roisin Leach was the player-of-the-match.
UPPERMILL under-16s edged out Rochdale 2-1 to maintain their unbeaten record so far this season.
Nicole Thorp struck both goals.
Thorp was at it again in a 2-0 victory at Chadderton Park, again scoring both goals.
