MOSSLEY moved up to sixth place in the Evo-Stik League Division One North table thanks to a convincing 4-1 home victory against Radcliffe Borough.
The in-form Lilywhites have won six out of the last seven league games and now lie just a place outside the play-off berths.
Tom Dean got Mossley off the mark with a ninth-minute strike, before Mitchell Bryant produced a great finish to double the lead.
Borough’s deficit was halved by Bevan Burey, but the Lilywhites made it 3-1 before the interval thanks to Mike Fish’s goal.
WELL-DESERVED
Skipper Andy Keogh wrapped up a well-deserved victory with just six minutes to go.
Mossley turn their attention to the Dootson Cup tomorrow night when they travel to Ossett Albion for a first-round tie (7.45pm kick-off).
q CHADDERTON’S North-West Counties League Reusch First Division Cup second-round tie at St Helens Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
No date has yet been set for the rearranged tie.
Chaddy are back in First Division action on Saturday when they host Barnton.
