MOSSLEY joint-boss Peter Band is hoping to kick-off a crucial spell in their Evo-Stik League Division One North season with a win at home against Radcliffe tomorrow.
Currently eighth in the table following five wins in six games, the Lilywhites will be confident of three points against a Borough side that has lost its last four.
Band said: “We’ve got a solid, settled side at the moment and the lads are playing with confidence.
“We lost 3-2 in the Trophy at Darlington last weekend, but we were unlucky. We hit the bar and had one cleared off the line in the last minute.
“The players know there’s an opportunity for us to go even higher in the table now as we’ve got some big games coming up: Trafford and Northwich come up in the next few weeks.
“These are going to be crucial games, so if we can set ourselves up with a win against Radcliffe, then that will be perfect.”
Tom Dean and Mickey Thomas are available again for the Borough clash, but that news has been offset by the loss of Tom Pratt and Lee Wilson, both to back injuries.
CHADDERTON are in knock-out action as they travel to St Helens Town in the second round of the North-West Counties League Reusch First Division Cup competition.
