Band plotting Mossley encore

LILYWHITES joint manager Peter Band says having a settled side has been key to their excellent run of form.
FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY joint-boss Peter Band is eyeing a repeat performance when his team travel to meet Clitheroe in the Evo-Stik League Division One North tomorrow.
The Lilywhites won the corresponding fixture 3-0 at Seel Park in August. A win at Shawbridge would extend Mossley’s winning streak to six games and take them past their hosts into sixth place.
Band said: “If the game goes the same way as it did earlier in the season, hopefully we’ll be looking at another win. We battered them at our place. It was 3-0, but we should have scored 10.
“Their sloping pitch might help them this weekend, but we just need to keep on doing what we’ve been doing this last month.”
CHADDERTON return to North-West Counties League First Division action tomorrow following their Reusch First Division Cup victory against Bacup Borough last time out.
They host fellow play-off chasers Cheadle Town. Both the above games kick-off at 3pm.
