Sharp shooters sink Westwood

FOOTBALL: REIGNING Oldham Sunday League Jack Abbott Premier Division champions Rifle are back firing on all cylinders thanks to a big win against Westwood in their latest fixture.
Rifle hammered Westwood 9-2 to register their second victory of the season thanks to goals from Ryan Fagan (three), Carl Beamish (two), Ryan Hobin (two), Niall Sultan and Jonny Munson.
Salah Uddin and Nuraz Zaman replied.
Fitton Hill still top the table following a 4-1 home win against Crown. Callum Franklin (two), Ashley Ainsworth and Aaron Buckley netted for the hosts, while Reece Holden replied.
Neil Walsh (two), Mike King and Steve King scored for Oldham GPO in a 4-2 success at Limeside Athletic, for whom Connor Berry and Jack Lowther replied.
Manchester Swifts continue to lead the way in David Giblin Division One. They beat Alt Athletic 6-3 thanks to D Robson (three), D Goodier, A Whitehouse and L Morris. K Igo (two) and S Barrow replied.
Chaddy Cott edged out High Crompton Victoria 3-2 courtesy of strikes from Chris McDonald, Mickey Booth and Jordan Bamford. Victoria replied through Jack Brocklehurst and Mike Rowlatt.
C Ganley, D Laryea and D Hodgkins registered for Legends of Lees in a 3-2 win against Old Skool, who struck back through U Karamat and K Zameer.
Jamie Wilson struck for Springhead Libs in a 1-1 draw with FC Failsworth. Daniel Hurst replied for Failsworth.
Oddies 14 were the big winners in Martin Buckley Division Two as they defeated Royton CC 7-1.
Nathan Dawson, Chris Taylor, Paul Dolmor (two), Mike Casson (two) and Owen Jones scored for Oddies, while Darren Morgan replied.
Rocky Siddall (two), Robert Quinlan (two) and Jordan Howarth netted for Heyrod in a 5-2 victory at Oldham XI.
Aaron Taylor struck twice for the hosts.
Top House still top the table following a 3-1 win at Oldham Lions, handed to them by Charlie Burton (two) and Jack Warburton. Majid Younis replied.
White House shared six goals with Dog and Partridge as Danny Connor, Dylan Ault and Sheldon Young scored for the hosts. Thomas Bee, Niall Barnes and Brett Worrall netted for Dog.
