Non-league: MOSSLEY’S squad is fit, healthy and back on track after putting a run of defeats behind them.
After a decent start to their season, the Lilywhites lost five games on the spin as injuries took their toll. Now those injuries have cleared and in their last three games the club has picked up four points from two games
Ahead of tomorrow’s lengthy league trip to Scarborough Athletic, Mossley joint-boss Peter Band said: “It’s getting easier now we’ve got a settled side again. These last few games we’ve seen players return who really know this league.
“Some of the lads who are coming back have been with us for quite a while now and we did miss that experience in the side.
“We’ve got a long trip to Scarborough, but they have slipped up of late and hopefully we can capitalise on their dip.”
Tom Bennett is the latest Mossley player to return to fitness after injury, and is available for selection.
CHADDERTON are homing in on the North-West Counties League First Division play-off places following a thrilling 4-3 win against Widnes last time out. Chaddy face a stern test tomorrow, though, as they head to St Helens Town.
