VICTORIA Austin was the stand-out player as Oldham Netball Club’s North-West Premier League team powered to an 83-32 success at Deeside.
The goal attack formed a great partnership with shooter Lucy Stevenson in a dominant display in North Wales.
Oldham turned over the ball 14 times in the first quarter as they built up a 26-8 lead. And with 12 players at her disposal, coach Suzy Ashworth was happy to ring the changes throughout.
Oldham kept their intensity and had the points in the bag by the midway point (48-13).
The match continued in the same vein in the second half, with Oldham taking the various player swaps in their stride.
Despite leading 66-23 with a quarter remaining, Oldham refused to lift their foot off the gas and the victory margin was a massive 51 goals.
