Andy Kremner: unbeaten in six pro bouts.
BOXING: ANDY Kremner has vowed to put on a show in his next fight against fellow undefeated rival Taz Apergis at the Victoria Warehouse in Trafford Park on October 24.
Kremner (22) and Wythenshawe-based Greek hopeful Apergis (32) will both be defending a five-fight unbeaten professional record in the scheduled six-rounder, with the Delph welterweight prospect promising fireworks.
He said: “This fight is going to be a proper war, but it’s one that will bring the best out of me.
“I’m 110 per cent confident of winning, though I know I’m not in for an easy night. Apergis is a really tough lad and I’ll have to dig deep. But I’m capable of doing that.”
Kremner is a little disappointed he and Apergis won’t be battling for a belt.
“There should definitely be a central area title on the line for the winner,” he said. “I can’t believe we’ll be fighting merely for pride.”
