Whitewash win puts Deaf ‘A’ in pole position

DEAF ‘A’ have hit the heights in the Hollands Pies Oldham Amateur Snooker League courtesy of a 6-0 whitewash of Blue Club ‘A’.
It is a Deaf one-two as the ‘B’ team are second in the table after defeating Blue Club ‘B’ 4-2.
Colin Hopkinson continued his fine early-season form with a break of 34 in Royton Band’s 5-1 victory over Queensway.
North Chadd ‘B’ recorded an identical 5-1 scoreline at Three Cs ‘B’.
Royton Band hold a two-point lead in the cards section — they have 12 points from a possible 16 — from Blue Club ‘B’ and North Chadd ‘A’.
