CRICKET:
DELPH picked up six points from their Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership fixture at home to Kirkburton.
Delph plundered 274 for seven from their 45 overs, with Chris Laker hitting 34, Greg Buckley 77, Nathan Jones 50 and Asim Khurshid 41.
Rain intervened and Kirkburton were handed a revised target of 215. But the visitors could only manage 128 for eight, with Wasim Qasim taking five for 35.
WOODHOUSES secured their second straight win in the Greene King Lancashire County League.
Visitors Flowery Field were skittled for 80 and ’Houses lost just two wickets in reaching their target.
