Staly to visit Mossley in first friendly
Date published: 02 June 2015
MOSSLEY will gear up for their 2015-16 season by playing eight pre-season friendlies.
The Lilywhites, who missed the play-offs by only two points last term, haven’t yet made new signings. But joint-bosses Peter Band and Lloyd Morrison have been preparing, as they get a summer fixture schedule underway with a home game against Vanarama National League North side Stalybridge Celtic on July 14.
Mossley then travel to Congleton Town on the 18th (3pm), before hosting another Tameside rival, Ashton United, on July 21. The 25th sees a trip to Runcorn Linnets (3pm), while the Lilywhites return to Oldham on July 28, away at Chadderton.
Mossley play Ashton Athletic in WIgan on August 1 (3pm), before two home games complete the programme: Hyde United on August 4 (home), and Ramsbottom on August 8 (3pm).
The new league campaign starts on August 15.
THE other club at Seel Park has decided to change its name. From the new season Oldham Boro will be called Oldham Borough.
