Fingers crossed for Hare

NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY expect Sam Hare to be fit for tonight’s trip to Chorley in the Evo-Stik League Division One North (7.45pm kick-off).

Hare took a kick on the calf towards the end of the 4-0 weekend win at Radcliffe Borough, and was replaced by Danny Warner with seven minutes remaining.

However, boss Shaun Higgins does not anticipate being without his midfield maestro, when the Lilywhites look to extend their unbeaten run to seven matches.

He said: “Sam should be fine. He was a bit sore because he was kicked quite hard on the calf, but fingers crossed he will shake it off.

“If he is available, it will mean I have a fully fit squad, which is a bonus with the games coming thick and fast.”

VODKAT North-West Counties League Division One outfit Chadderton host Curzon Ashton, of the Evo-Stik League Division One North, in the Manchester Premier Cup quarter-final tonight (7.45pm).
The hosts welcome back Gareth Morris from suspension, giving manager Paul Buckley a full compliment of players from which to choose.

Buckley said: “We have missed Gaz, so it is a big boost to have him back for the visit of Curzon Ashton.

“Everyone is available so my plan is to make a few changes in order to freshen it up a bit.”
