RUGBY LEAGUE:
SADDLEWORTH Rangers suffered a defeat on their return to action in the National Conference League Premier Division, losing 20-14 at Siddal.
Oldham St Anne's also lost, 36-6 away at Ince Rose Bridge in Division One, as did Waterhead who went down 44-8 at Elland in Division Two.
