3D DYNAMOS under-13s were too good for Lepton Highlanders ‘A’ in the Huddersfield and District Junior League. Inspired by a Sam Bagshaw hat-trick, 3D cruised to an 8-0 win to go top of the table.
Tom Ireson (two), Tom McClusky, Dominic Kerrison and Ben Ford were also on the mark.
But under-14s ‘M’, who could only call on 11 players, slipped to a 6-3 defeat at the hands of Gomersal and Cleckheaton.
3D were leading 2-0 and 3-2 in the second half, but they were unable to withstand a late Cleck-heaton fightback, who scored three times after 3D were reduced to 10 players because of injury.
Sam Wilson, Jason Norris and an own goal made up 3D’s tally.
