Chadds cruise to cup win

CHADDERTONIANS swept into round three of the Lancashire Amateur Cup with a 4-0 win at Lancaster Boys Club.

Despite dominating the first half, they only had a Neil Sissons goal to show for their efforts.

But it was a different story in the second half as Hechem Ariane, Mark Kearns and own goal sealed a comfortable victory.

Oldham Hulmeians bowed out of the competition as South Manchester ran out 3-1 winners at Tate Street. Danny Proffitt was on target for the local side.

In the premier division, Failsworth Dynamos enjoyed an emphatic 6-2 victory over Old Boltonians.

Meanwhile, goals from Andrew Simpson and Warren Griffith clinched a 2-1 win for Chadd reserves at home to Accrington Amateurs.

Chadds ‘A’ hit the goals trail against Old Boltonians ‘A’ in division four.

They recorded an 8-0 win, thanks to goals from Danny O’Keefe (three), Jordan Scholes (two) and Liam Wilson (two) and Chris Wales.

And Chadds ‘B’ swept aside Bolton Wyresdale ‘A’ 5-1 in division six. Jak O’Dea (two), Mark Flint, Adam Flint and Rob Fielding did the damage.

Oldham Hulmeians ‘A’ fought out a 4-4 draw at home to Mostonians ‘B’ in division seven, but ‘B’ team were beaten 3-2 by Rossendale Amateurs ‘D’.
