RIFLE Range Royal Blues are going great guns in division two of the D&J Builders (North-West) Ltd Oldham Sunday League.

They are riding high thanks to three wins out of three — and they are also scoring goals for fun.

Rifle Range’s latest 6-4 success against Springhead Libs brought their total to 16 for the season and maintained their two-point lead.

There is a three-way tie in David Giblin division one.

Khartoum Northern, who dropped their points of the season when they went down 4-3 at home to FC Royton, share top-spot with reigning champions Chaddy End FC and High Crompton.

Chaddy End brushed aside Hunt Lane Tavern 5-1, while High Crompton were 2-0 winners over Failsworth Dynamos.

Lowerhouse United ‘A’ broke their duck with a 4-3 defeat of Oddies Athletic.

Royton Athletic, the leaders, and Limeside Athletic ‘A’ boast 100-per-cent records in David Giblin division one.

Athletic posted a 2-0 victory at Parkside, while Limeside registered an emphatic 9-0 win at Bridge Inn.
