ALL eyes are on second place in the Armstrongs Office Furniture Saddleworth and District Cricket League.
With two games to go, a cart-load of teams are in with a chance of finishing runners-up behind champions Bamford Fieldhouse.
Saddleworth are second-best at present, but could find themselves in mid-table by the time the credits roll on another season on Sunday night. It’s that close.
But Peter Skuse’s side are at a disadvantage as their campaign ends tomorrow because of an open date on Sunday.
A top-five finish is also worth a place in next year’s LCB Cup.
