UPPERMILL professional Ayaz Tasawar led from the front again as his side convincingly brushed off the challenge from Middleton in the Pennine Cricket League Championship.
Tasawar struck 72 as the hosts took first knock, scoring 255 for nine.
Middleton scarcely got going in their reply, crumbling to 128 all out.
Tasawar was the destroyer-in-chief with the ball, taking seven wickets at a cost of only 29 runs.
Elsewhere in the second tier, Moorside pro Gerry Snyman again impressed.
He scored 79 at Oldham as the visitors scored 231 all out, batting first.
Lee Warburton then took six for 38 as Oldham were bowled out for 119.
Tharshan Thayalan hit a brilliant 101 for Shaw as they beat Hollinwood.
The hosts batted first, eventually reaching 233 for nine before the overs ran out.
Jay Virpura then took four for 22 as Hollinwood were dismissed for 111.
Micklehurst's Andrew Kohler scored 67 as his team scored 164 at Werneth.
It wasn't enough, however, as Matt Taylor top-scored with 43 in Werneth's 165 for three reply.
In the Premiership, Glodwick were routed by Monton and Weaste, and Jake Sandham in particular.
KNOCK
The hosts took first knock, but were skittled for 78 as Sandham took five for 26. The same player then top-scored with 40 as Monton eased home at a cost of just two wickets.
Austerlands suffered a similar fate as they were well beaten at home by Rochdale.
The hosts took first knock, but were soon all back in the hut as they were dismissed for 72.

Rochdale eventually reached their target, but they lost five wickets on the way.
