WATERHEAD, fielding three 17-year-olds on debut, were beaten 54-16 at at home to Woolston Rovers in National Conference League Division Three.
Teenagers Liam Leech, James Perks and Danny Murphy saw Jack Pemberton put Warriors in front, but by the interval Rovers had stormed 28-4 clear.
Carl Sneyd and Terry Fitzgerald both converted their own tries for Warriors after the restart, but Rovers brought the half-century up as Chris Twigg (two), Billy Maunder, Sean Conway, Will Ridge, Dan Fearnley, Adam Files, Danny Griffiths, Connor Muir and Tom Woodward went over. Glyn Roberts kicked four goals, while Twigg added three.
