CARINA-May Teirney is pictured receiving the women's Chronicle Cup from managing editor David Whaley - becoming the youngest ever winner - after her brilliant seven-under nett 62 was matched by host club Brookdale's Lady Captain Stella Cain yesterday.
CLASS
The 16-year-old Oasis Academy student, who plays at Crompton and Royton, showed the class that has seen her picked for Lancashire, to come out on top in a six-hole playoff.
