Lilywhites seal survival in fine style

MOSSLEY finally sealed their Evo-Stik League Division One North safety as they came from behind to beat Glossop North End 2-1 at Seel Park.
In a feisty game which saw Mossley's Rob Flynn and Glossop's Ben Richardson sent off, it was the visitors who struck first through Max Leonard.
Elliott Harrison's goal ensured Mossley were back on terms by half-time.
The Lilywhites snatched victory when Liam Ellis pounced with five minutes left.
Mossley, now safe from the threat of the drop, bring down the curtain on a largely miserable campaign this weekend when they travel to Tadcaster Albion.
The Lilywhites went down 3-0 at Kendal Town on Saturday. Matthew Dudley (two) and Matthew Poole struck for the hosts.
IT proved to be a mixed Easter programme for Chadderton in the Hallmark Security League First Division.
They went down 2-1 at home to Widnes yesterday.
Kevin Pollard struck the only goal of the first period for Widnes. Jack Tuohy levelled for Chaddy, only for George Lomax to bag the winner with 20 minutes left.
IMPRESSIVE
Chaddy secured an impressive 1-0 win at Carlisle City on Saturday. Matty Crothers struck just after half-time.
Chaddy host City of Liverpool on Thursday in the Macron Cup semi-final second leg. The local outfit hold a 2-0 lead following a superb win on Merseyside 11 days ago.
