THE Oldham Sunday League resumes this weekend with some cracking fixtures.
Limeside King George continue in their defence of the Challenge Cup when they entertain Coppice United in a second round tie at the OASIS Academy, while Fitton Hill could overtake LKG at the top of the Jack Abbott Premier Division if they can overcome Westwood by six goals at Clayton playing fields.
In David Giblin Division One, Oddies 14 will be looking to cement their place at the top of the table with victory over fourth-placed High Crompton Victoria at New Barn playing fields.
All games have a 2pm kick-off.
More bad news for the league, though, comes in the departure of two more clubs - FC Failsworth and Manchester Swifts - reducing the number of teams to just 20.
It is hoped there will be an increase in for the 2017-18 season.
