TRIUMPHED
The Lilywhites, who went into the weekend on the back of a run of five straight defeats, triumphed comfortably, winning their first home league match of the season in the process.
Dave Short and Matthew Burke scored in the first half, while former Athletic striker Jordan Bove and youngster Mason Duffy wrapped up a morale-boosting victory late on.
The Lilywhites return to action tomorrow night when they host Nantwich Town in the Integro League Cup first round (7.45pm kick-off).
SUPERB Chadderton came from behind to secure a well-deserved 4-1 win at Holker Old Boys in the Hallmark Security League First Division.
John-Paul Stanway scored first for the Cumbrian outfit, but by the interval it was 3-1 to Chaddy thanks to strikes from Leon Iloube, Gareth Hill and James Curley, who converted from the penalty spot.
Sam Gibson wrapped up the win after the interval.
Chaddy return to action on Saturday with a home fixture against Charnock Richard.
