THE Beijing Rangers veterans' football team have visited from China for a fortnight, and they played their Uppermill counterparts at Churchill playing fields.
During a trip organised by Hino Travel, the squad of players from Beijing played a couple of games in Manchester and also went to watch Manchester United's home Premier League clash against Stoke City while they were over.
The match against Uppermill ended 2-2, with the hosts triumphing 5-3 on penalties, after which all the players, officials and spectators enjoyed food and drinks in the clubhouse.
