GOLDEN BOY: Year Seven long jump winner Owen Pritchard from Royton and Crompton.
CROMPTON House were crowned overall champions at the Oldham Schools’ Boys’ Field Athletics Championships which were staged at the Radclyffe complex in Chadderton.
Crompton House won three of the four age group categories during a terrific day of competition, sharing the Year Nine first prize with Blue Coat.
Newman won the Year 10 boys’ category overall.
