A RALLYING call worked the oracle for Chaddy Hoppers under-14s Red in their North Bury Junior League game against Elton and Walshaw Cougars.

A few words of encouragement during the half-time interval did the trick as Hoppers went on to win 3-0.

Jack Raffa scored within three minutes of the restart, T Dunn added a second, before Steven Wharmby weighed in with number three to wrap up the points.

Hoppers under-16s displayed their title credentials with an excellent 6-1 win over Boothstown.
