Oldham teams in seventh heaven

OLDHAM Netball Club teams were near unstoppable as they won seven age group competitions out of the eight they entered at the Chester tournament.
The under-eights, nines, 10s, 11s, 12s, 13s and 14s all emerged victorious, while Oldham's under-15s team finished in third place.
Oldham's under-eights won all eight of their matches during the day, conceding only two goals.
The under-nines Cygnets scored an impressive 81 goals and conceded only 18, and remained undefeated all day. They best hosts Chester in a dramatic final, 6-5 after extra-time.
SQUAD -
Lola Brown, Faye Leddy, Ava Stone, Phoebe Eglin, Imogen Hulme, Sarah Rexstraw, Millie Carrs, Rubie McDonald, Alison Niyindagiye (girl of the tournament).
The Oldham Eagles under-10s produced a stunning comeback against local rivals Tameside to claim the top honour.
Their final also went to extra-time as they eventually triumphed 9-7.
Oldham's under-11s won all their nine games throughout the tournament, winning the final 11-5 against Trafford Blue.
The under-12s had plenty to celebrate, with Maisy Green also winning the player of the tournament prize.
The team won six group matches, before seeing off Tameside in the semi-finals and hosts Chester 10-4 in the final.
Oldham's under-13s scored 178 goals and conceded only 20 on their way to victory.
They hammered Northwich 17-1 in the semi-finals, before beating Bury Pumas 17-2 in a rather one-sided final.

Oldham's under-14s were in great form throughout their tournament.
They defeated local rivals Tameside 13-4 in the final.
